Are no longer on our shelves,
Are they?
The lips we have been enchanted by
Have not been so charming recently,
Have they?
The love we wondered share
Has no longer run through our veins,
Has it?
A box of intentions and tears
Is the only living object
In this room,
Is it not?
It has been over
For a quite a while now,
Has it not?
Cheers
To new beginnings
Or fresh pauses
Or even to silent ends.
