Poesia (27.3)

You had left or The usage of the past perfect

Even before cringing
My path away
You had been gone.

Oceans apart had been swum by us
Moving my water into drifting.
You had chosen all the tiny mistakes
To overcome our history.

As the boy that I hadn't gotten to know,
You faded.

I had chosen to leave
Even mesmerizing your further position over the front
Of the upcoming war.

You had left us in order to live among others
You had forced me
Into opening my doors to people
So you could fly without feathers.

I'm drifting away now.
No guilt.
No time.
No water.
Along the flavors of my own tone.

I keep on listening to my eyes.

No guilt.
No time.
No water.

No you,
Finally.
